I know its been a while. I don't get to come up here too often. I'm alone tonight since the wife is in Paris for a girls night out (don't hear too many people say that do ya?) That's one of the great things about being here. Everything is so close. We'll be heading to the mountains in Garmish next week. They were flooded all last week so hopfully it will clear up before next week. Tess and I went to Cochem last weekend and checked out a castle. We had to park on the other side of the village and walk through because we couldn't figure out hao to get up to the castle. We weren't even positive that you could drive to the castle. Anyway, we were hurrying through the village trying to find the trail that led up that way. Hurrying because we only had about thirty minutes to get there before the last tour left. We'll we found the trail and commenced to hike up the extremely trail. Unfortunatly Tess isn't much of the hiking type so the higher we got, the worse her temperment got. I, of course, thought the hike was fun and thought it was funny how much she was huffing and puffing. She was, however, a trooper and didn't stop till we reached the castle, along with its nice big parking-lot. Anyway, we made it in time and got to take the tour. It was a lot of fun. My favorite part was in the "Knight's room" where they had remakes of the armour that was in the castle when it was sold to the town. Back in the day, the average height of males was a little shorter than now so most of the armour is kinda small. However, there is a set that was traced back to a knight that came up from Austria and stayed on with whoever owned the castle at that time. The man was about seven foot tall. The armour is huge. There's a picture of me standing in front of it and beside a set of regular armour somewhere.
Not a whole lot going on other than that. Been busy between work, flag-football practice, and home life. All in all, I can't complain. I'm being old I must get off the computer now so till next time, take care.

I'm back. Nice to read all your blogs. Hope the family thing gets worked out, everyone had a great time in Junction, and, Billy, I don't think I'd add the mortality rate of your truck the next time you look for a driver. I'm about to try and buy tickets for when go on leave. Already looking forward to it. Looks like we'll be flying into Abilene since I can get cheaper tickets to there. I'm not sure why that is but cheaper is cheaper. We'll then probably head down to SA for a week and change and the finish up in the Roby area. At least thats the plan for now. I have to renew my drivers license sometime while I'm there. Not sure if we'll stay a few days in Roby to do it before going to SA or if I'll do it down there. Look forward to seeing everyone.
I was supposed to have a day off tomorrow but we lost our goal day because some guy got a DUI in the squadron. Our squadron had gone over 2 yrs without one and he blew it. Sucks for him because he's a captain and this will end his career. Air Force officers don't get another chance. A lot of people think its stupid to punish a couple hundred people in the squadron for one persons screw-up but that's the way it is now. So I'll be reporting bright and early tommorrow in uniform for another great Air Force day.

On another note, I'm gonna go TDY to Garmish for a week next month. They say its one of the prettiest places on earth so I'll try and load some picks on the blog when I get back. Anyway, I've gotta go and get those tickets before they kick me off the computer. Everyone take care and I'll see yousoon. Later.

WOW!!! I figured it out. Sorry that a lot of the previous blogs are kinda short and confusing. I was catching hell trying to figure out why none of my stuff would show up on the blog page. I could find it on the dashboard but it wouldn't show on the blog. Unfortunatly I ended up with this back ground and I think its a little busy. I might try and change it in a minute. Hope I don't screw everything up again. Angie and Jim,Sorry to hear that the jerk-off that robbed you got off so easy. I hope the dumbass DA gets what she diserves and never gets elected for anything again.Billy,Haven't read your offering for the past few days but I think its real cool the one you did about my B-day. Thanks. I could put what I remember about all yall while growing up, but we just won't go there. It would ruin the effect anyway.G-pa and G-ma,Haven't heard anything from you in a while blog wise. Hope all is well. I will continue to keep an eye out for what you asked about. I know what to look for now. Till next time, later.
