Although I would bet that the news has made it around to most of you. I now know my class date. I will start the first phase of the school in April 07. That means I'll be here for another year but I will be leaving a little earlier than I would have originally. The first phase will be at Brooks city base for one year. Then I will go to my clinicals for another year. I will not know where this is till I am almost done with the first year. All I know is that Nellis AFB (Las Vegas) is one of the main precepting sites for the program. I would assume that some of the others would be Wilford Hall (San Antonio) and Andrews (Washington DC) but I'm not sure. I will be promoted to Staff (E-5) when I enter the course. That is if I don't get it before then. That is unlikly though because of my time in grade. After my clinicals, I will go to OTS for about three months and will come out a 2Lt (O-1). I think that will answer most of anyone's questions about my plans. If not, let me know. Later

school

I am blogging this with intentions of calling some people here shortly. I found out yesterday that I have been accepted to PA school. However, I'm not supposed to know till tomorrow when my Commander tells me in front of everyone.
Anyway, since I'm not supposed to know, I do not know when my class date is so I don't know when I'll be headed to San Antonio. It will be a while still though. At best I'll start school in January '07. Anyway, I intend to call mom and dad and a few other people here soon so don't tell if you read this within the next few hours meaning before 3 or 4pm your time. Hope everyone is well. Later

Its done

Well, I finally got it done. I know sit here with three holes in my gums, gauze between my teeth and narcotics in my system. Bad news is I'm already bored out of my mind and I am very tired of mash potatoes. Its only been 10 and a half hours since I came out of surgery. It might be a long couple of days since I'm not supposed to leave the house.
